Trustindex alternatives and Trustindex competitors compared on price and review requests

Trustindex is one of the cheapest ways to display reviews, at $65 a year for one company, but its prices page still lists SMS review collection as in progress. People look for an alternative when the widget is fine and the review count is not. NiceJob texts and emails every customer from $75 a month, Reviewshake sells a white label agency plan from $199, and ReviewJet sends email and SMS request sequences and fills the same widget from $49 a month.

The widget is not the bottleneck

Why businesses look for a Trustindex alternative

Almost nobody leaves Trustindex over price. It costs less than a lunch meeting per year and shows reviews from 133 platforms without a view cap. The complaint is what happens before the widget: the reviews have to arrive first.

Trustindex can ask. It sends Google review links, manual email campaigns and automatic campaigns through a BCC address, plus QR codes and NFC cards at the counter. What it does not do yet is text. Its prices page marks SMS collection as in progress, and for a plumber, a dental office or a med spa that books by phone, the text is the request that gets answered.

The second reason is agencies. Trustindex lets Ultimate connect unlimited companies, but the prices page says nothing about white label branding, so the request page and emails your clients' customers see may not carry your client's name alone.

Honest comparison

Trustindex competitors compared on price, SMS requests and billing

Six tools a US business or agency realistically puts next to Trustindex. Where a vendor's pricing page does not state something, the table says so instead of guessing.

Trustindex alternatives compared on published price, billing, review requests, SMS and best fit
Tool Published paid entry price Billing SMS review requests Agency option Best fit
Trustindex $65/year Single, 1 company Yearly only, auto renews Listed as in progress Ultimate $349/year, unlimited companies Cheap display from 133 platforms

EmbedSocial $29/mo Pro, 3 sources Sources and monthly views Not stated on the pricing page Enterprise, custom Social feeds and reviews together
NiceJob $75/mo Starter, $125 Pro Monthly, no contract Yes, SMS and email on both plans Not on the pricing page Home service businesses
Reviewshake $29/mo Starter, $59 Growth, $99 Ultimate Monthly, 20% off yearly Growth and up, 500 to 1,000 a month From $199/mo, 10 clients, white labeled Agencies reselling reviews
Reviewflowz $45 Pro, $70 Premium per location/mo Billed annually Yes, $5 per 100 texts on top Per location pricing Monitoring across many review sites
ReviewJet $49/mo Starter, $24/mo billed yearly Monthly or yearly Yes, through your own Twilio number Plus $149/mo, 5 white label workspaces Businesses that need more Google, G2 or Trustpilot reviews

Figures read on trustindex.io/prices, elfsight.com/pricing, embedsocial.com/pricing, get.nicejob.com/pricing, reviewshake.com/pricing and reviewflowz.com/pricing. On ReviewJet, texts go out through your connected Twilio account, so Twilio bills its own per message rate.

Trustindex wins every row on price

That is the truth and it is why this page exists only for one kind of buyer. If your reviews already arrive at a steady pace and you want them on your site, keep Trustindex. Switching to any tool here costs you more money for the same widget.

What the extra money buys

The gap pays for asking. A business that finishes 60 jobs a month and gets four reviews from them is losing far more to the competitor with 300 Google reviews than it saves on software. One timed text plus one email reminder, sent to every customer without anyone remembering, is what changes that count.

What each one is actually good at

The Trustindex alternatives in detail

Match the tool to the job you need done, not to the longest feature list.

Office manager closing out the day's jobs at a desk with a laptop and paperwork

The moment a review request should go out

When the job is closed out and paid. A tool that sends the request at that point, by text, without anyone opening a campaign screen, is the real difference between these options.

NiceJob, for home services that want it done for them

Starter is $75 a month and Pro is $125, both with SMS and email review requests, a 14 day trial and no contract. Pro adds repeat and referral campaigns and AI replies. It suits a contractor or cleaning company that wants requests running from its job software. The full plan breakdown is in NiceJob pricing.

Reviewshake, for agencies reselling reviews

Starter is $29 a month for one location with 250 email invites, Growth is $59 with 1,000 emails and 500 texts, Ultimate is $99 with 2,000 emails and 1,000 texts. The Agency plan starts at $199 a month for 10 clients, 25 locations and 15 users, fully white labeled. Extra locations are $30 a month.

Elfsight and EmbedSocial, if display is still the point

Both are display tools metered by views. Elfsight is $5 a month billed yearly for 5,000 views and switches the widget off past the limit. EmbedSocial is $29 a month for 3 sources and 5,000 views, with social feeds beside reviews. Neither fixes a low review count. See Elfsight alternatives for that side of the market.

Reviewflowz, for watching many review sites

Pro is $45 and Premium $70 per location a month, billed annually, with invites charged on top at $5 per 1,000 emails and $5 per 100 texts. Its strength is monitoring reviews across a wide list of sites. The per location unit adds up quickly for an agency with many small clients.

ReviewJet, if you need more reviews in the widget you already like

We start where Trustindex stops. After a purchase or a finished job, ReviewJet sends the customer a request by text through your own Twilio number or by email, follows up once if there is no reply, and links straight to the review form on Google, G2, Trustpilot or a direct review page on your domain. A customer is never asked twice inside 30 days. What comes back shows in Google reviews widgets, carousels, badges and walls with review schema, and no view meter.

Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year for up to 1,000 requests a month. Plus is $149 with 5 seats, 5 workspaces and white label review management on your own request page domain. The honest trade is breadth: we read four sources, not 133, so a hotel that needs Tripadvisor and Booking.com reviews on the page should keep Trustindex for display.

Switching takes an afternoon

How to move from Trustindex without losing a review

Your reviews live on Google, G2 and Trustpilot, not inside Trustindex, so there is nothing to export. Time the switch to the end of your paid year, because Trustindex bills annually.

01

Check your renewal date

Trustindex renews automatically after one year. Turn renewal off in Settings so you are not billed for a second year, and keep the widget live until the date.

02

Connect the same profiles

Link the Google Business Profile, G2 or Trustpilot page Trustindex reads from. Existing reviews load straight away.

03

Turn on requests first

Connect Twilio for texts, import the last 30 days of customers and start the sequence. New reviews start arriving while the old widget is still up.

04

Swap the embed

Paste the new widget where the Trustindex code sits, or remove the WordPress plugin, so two widgets do not load on the same page.

What buyers ask before they switch

Trustindex alternative questions

It depends on what you want to fix. If you want the widget filled by requests that go out after every sale, ReviewJet sends email and SMS sequences from $49 a month. NiceJob does the same for home services at $75. Reviewshake covers agencies from $199 a month. If you only want cheap display, Trustindex itself is hard to beat.
Not yet. On its prices page, Trustindex lists SMS review collection as in progress. Collection today runs through Google review links, manual and automatic email campaigns, integrations, QR codes and NFC cards. If most of your customers book or pay by phone, a text request usually gets more replies than an email, so this gap matters more than the price.
For displaying reviews you already have, yes. Single costs $65 a year for one company with unlimited widgets, views and reviews from 133 platforms, which is cheaper than almost anything else. It is less of a bargain once the real problem is getting new reviews every week, because that work still depends on you sending the campaigns.
At any real traffic, yes. Elfsight Basic is $60 a year for 5,000 widget views and its pricing page says exceeding the limit will temporarily deactivate your app. Trustindex Single is $65 a year with no view cap on paid plans. Elfsight is only cheaper on a very small site that stays under its view band.
They do different jobs. Trustpilot is a review platform where customers leave reviews on Trustpilot's own site, with paid plans from $99 a month billed annually. Trustindex is a widget and collection tool that shows reviews from Google, Trustpilot and 131 other platforms on your website. Many businesses use Trustpilot for the reviews and a widget tool to display them.
No. All three paid plans are billed once a year: $65 for Single, $125 for Pro and $349 for Ultimate. The prices page shows a monthly equivalent of $5.42, $10.42 and $29.08, but you pay the year up front, and the plan renews automatically after one year unless you cancel in the account settings.
Trustindex says it will refund a purchase if you ask within 30 days. After that window the plan runs to the end of the paid year. There is also a 7 day trial of the paid features with no credit card, after which the account drops back to the free package instead of charging you.
The prices page does not mention white label branding. Ultimate is pitched at organizations and agencies and allows unlimited companies, and the FAQ says Pro covers client sites up to five websites. Agencies that need the request page and emails under their own brand should confirm with Trustindex first, or use a tool that lists white label on the plan.
