Signpost alternatives and Signpost competitors for review management with published prices
SignpostAI now sells three quote-only packages on a 6 month agreement, with review management bundled next to AI call answering, listings and payments. If reviews are the part you actually use, you can buy that job on its own at a printed price: NiceJob at $75 a month, GatherUp at $99 for one location, Reviewflowz from $45 per location, or ReviewJet at a flat $49. Every figure below was read on the vendor's own pricing page.

What changed at Signpost and why owners are shopping
Signpost rebranded to SignpostAI this year and rebuilt its pricing page twice in a short span. The current version changes three things a home service owner budgets around.
The prices came off the page. Shortly before this version, signpost.com/pricing listed Standard at $199 a month, Advanced at $399 and Complete at $749, each with a $199 setup fee. Today it lists three packages named Foundation, Framework and Landmark, each behind a Get Pricing button, plus a custom tier for franchises and multi-location businesses. There is no dollar figure anywhere on the page.
The term got longer. The earlier page said all plans were month-to-month. The current one lists a 6 Month Agreement among the things every package includes. It also advertises zero setup fees, which is a genuine saving against the old $199, so the trade is a lower entry cost for a committed half year.
Reviews came back, inside a bundle. For a while the plans read like an AI receptionist product, with no review feature listed at all. Now Review Management sits in the Foundation package next to AI Voice, listings management, Reserve with Google, a booking link, invoicing and payments. Signpost's own page describes QR code requests from the tech's phone, text and email requests to one customer or the whole past list, automatic reminders, AI-drafted replies that you approve, and Google, Facebook and Yelp reviews in one view.
None of that is a bad product decision. Plenty of shops want one vendor for calls, booking, payments and reviews. But if your crew answers its own phone and the thing you actually signed for was more Google reviews, you are now being sold a package to get one module, on a six month term, at a price you have to ask for. That is the situation the rest of this page is written for.

Honest comparison
Signpost competitors compared on price, contract and review coverage
The tools a home service business realistically weighs against Signpost when reviews are the job. Where a vendor publishes nothing we say not published, because a quote-only price is itself something to know before you book a demo.
| Tool | Published price | Contract | Review requests | Replies | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SignpostAI | Not published, three packages behind Get Pricing | 6 month agreement, zero setup fees | QR code, text, email, bulk to past customers, reminders | AI-drafted, you approve, posts to Google, Facebook, Yelp | Shops that also want AI call answering and payments |
| NiceJob | $75/mo Starter, $125/mo Pro | No contract, 14 day trial | Automated requests, review widgets, team leaderboard | AI replies on Pro | Single-location service businesses that want referrals too |
| GatherUp | $99/mo for 1 location, then $60 per location | Monthly or annual, 14 day trial | 300 SMS and 3,000 emails per location per month | AI-crafted replies, monitoring of 100+ sites | Owners who want NPS surveys next to reviews |
| Reviewflowz | $45 per location/mo Pro, $70 Premium | Published rates are billed annually | Email and SMS campaigns, metered on Pro | Unlimited AI replies, automatic or approved | Busy shops with reviews nobody answers |
| Podium | Not published | Not published | Text-based review invites | Inside its messaging inbox | Front desks that live in one texting inbox |
| ReviewJet | $49/mo Starter, $149 Plus, $499 Pro | Monthly or yearly, no minimum term | Email and SMS sequences, review link, QR code | You reply on Google, we flag what came in | Shops that want reviews collected and shown on their site |
NiceJob, GatherUp and Reviewflowz figures read on their own pricing pages. SignpostAI and Podium publish no package prices. ReviewJet reads Google, G2, Trustpilot and direct reviews; Signpost covers Facebook and Yelp, which we do not, so weigh that if your customers review you there.
What each one is actually good at
The Signpost alternatives in detail
Read these as different answers to one question: which part of Signpost were you really paying for?
NiceJob, the closest like-for-like on reviews
NiceJob was built for the same trades Signpost courts and publishes its prices in US dollars: Starter at $75 a month and Pro at $125. Starter covers automated review requests, review widgets, social sharing, a team leaderboard and a reviews microsite. Pro adds referral campaigns, repeat-booking reminders, NPS surveys and AI replies. Its FAQ says you are not locked into a contract at any time.
It does not answer calls or take payments, and a managed website is a separate $99 a month with a $199 setup fee. We go through the trade-offs against the rest of the field in our NiceJob alternatives comparison.
GatherUp, if you run more than one location
GatherUp lists $99 a month for a single location and $60 per location as you add more, with a Listings Hub add-on at $40 per location. Every plan includes up to 300 SMS and 3,000 email credits per location per month and monitoring across more than a hundred review sites, including Facebook and Yelp. There is a 14 day trial.
The SMS allowance is the number to check. A shop closing 400 jobs a month and texting every customer will run past 300, so match your job count against the credits before comparing prices. The GatherUp pricing breakdown works through the per location math.
Reviewflowz, if replies are what you skip
Signpost's strongest review feature is the drafted reply you approve. Reviewflowz is built around that same job: unlimited AI replies that post automatically or wait for approval, at $45 per location per month on Pro and $70 on Premium, with the published rates billed annually. On Pro, email campaigns run $5 per 1,000 emails and SMS $5 per 100 messages.
That metering is worth modeling. A crew sending 300 texts a month adds about $15 on top of the location fee, which is fair, but it means the headline is not the bill.
Podium, if the front desk lives in texts
Podium is the most Signpost-shaped option here, because review invites sit inside a messaging inbox the office uses all day, with webchat and payments alongside. If you liked having everything in one place and only dislike the six month term, Podium is a legitimate look.
It does not solve the pricing problem, though. Podium's pricing page prints no figure and routes you to sales, so you trade one quote call for another. Our Podium alternatives guide covers what replaces each part of it.
ReviewJet, if you want more Google reviews and want them working on your website
Most shops leaving Signpost over reviews are replacing four small jobs: send the request when the job closes, send one reminder, see what comes in, and put the good ones where the next homeowner is deciding. That is the whole of what we sell, at a price you can read. Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year and covers up to 1,000 email and SMS requests a month. Plus is $149 with five seats and five workspaces, which fits a company with several branches or brands.
The part Signpost does not emphasize is the website. Your Google reviews show in a widget on the water heater page, the AC repair page and next to the booking form, with review schema, so they work on the people already comparing you. The honest trade: we do not answer calls, sync listings or take payments, we do not cover Facebook or Yelp, and replies are written by you on Google rather than drafted for you.
Switching without a gap in reviews
How to move off Signpost in four steps
The goal is that no finished job goes un-asked during the changeover. Plan it against your agreement end date, not the day you get annoyed.
-
1
Find your end date and notice period
With a six month agreement, the date matters more than the price. Ask your account manager in writing when the current term ends and how much notice stops it renewing.
-
2
Export the customer list
Names, emails and phone numbers of past customers are the asset. Pull them out, along with any private feedback you want to keep, while the account is still open.
-
3
Run both for the last two weeks
Connect your Google profile to the new tool and start sending requests from it before the old one stops. Your public reviews stay on Google either way.
-
4
Replace the QR code your techs show
If crews hand over a phone in the driveway, swap in a new code on day one. Our Google review QR code goes straight to your review form.
Match the tool to the shop
Which Signpost alternative fits which business
Describe your setup in one sentence and read across. Most shortlists drop to one or two names.
| If this describes you | Start with | Because |
|---|---|---|
| You answer your own phone and only used Signpost for reviews | ReviewJet or NiceJob | Published monthly price, no six month term, reviews only |
| Three to ten branches, and you want surveys too | GatherUp | Per location pricing with NPS and SMS credits included |
| Lots of reviews coming in and nobody replying | Reviewflowz | AI replies are its core feature |
| You want reviews selling on your service pages | ReviewJet | Widgets and review schema are included from $49 |
| The office lives in a shared texting inbox | Podium | Messaging is the product and reviews ride along |
| Missed calls cost you more than missing reviews | Stay on Signpost, or price an AI receptionist | A review tool does not answer the phone |
The last row deserves weight. Signpost's own fact sheet describes it as a communication and back-office platform that answers calls, captures leads, books jobs and collects payments. If AI Voice is booking jobs at 9pm, keeping it may be right, and the useful question for your account manager is what the package costs without review management, so you are not paying twice.
