Signpost pricing, what each SignpostAI plan costs and where review management went
Signpost, now sold as SignpostAI, publishes its prices. The pricing page lists a Free plan at $0, Standard at $199 a month, Advanced at $399 and Complete at $749, and every paid plan carries a one-time $199 setup fee plus per-minute charges once you pass the included minutes. All plans are month-to-month. What the page no longer lists is the thing many home service businesses bought Signpost for in the first place: review requests. Here is what each plan costs in a real year, what changed, and what to use if reviews were the reason you signed.

The short answer
SignpostAI costs $199, $399 or $749 a month plus a $199 setup fee, which puts a first year between about $2,600 and $9,200 before overage minutes. It is an AI call answering and receptionist product for home service companies. If you want AI answering, compare it on that. If you want more Google reviews, none of the current plans list review requests, so you need a separate review tool, and those start around $49 a month.
How much does Signpost cost?
These are the figures on signpost.com/pricing. Every paid plan includes 500 AI minutes a month and bills extra AI minutes at $0.40 each. Advanced and Complete add live receptionist minutes, with their own overage rates.
| Plan | Monthly price | Setup | Included minutes | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | None | Not specified | An entry point before upgrading; the free booking tool is also offered separately |
| Standard | $199/mo | $199 once | 500 AI, then $0.40/min | AI answering, spam filtering, messaging hub inbox, booking link, call recordings and transcripts, call transferring, call analytics |
| Advanced | $399/mo | $199 once | 500 AI; 100 live, then $2.10/min | Appointment scheduling, custom scripting for live receptionists, advanced call analytics, instant responders for text, Angi, Thumbtack and Facebook leads |
| Complete | $749/mo | $199 once | 500 AI; 250 live, then $1.90/min | Everything above plus AI messaging for SMS and Angi leads |
| Custom | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted | Franchises and multi-location businesses, through the partner team |
The feature comparison on the same page also shows add-ons for the lower tiers: Instant Responders at $49 a month on Standard, and AI SMS at $100 a month on Standard and Advanced. SignpostAI's own FAQ says there are no long-term contracts, plans are month-to-month, and you can change plans at any time.
What a year of SignpostAI actually costs
The monthly figure is the smaller part of the decision for a busy shop. Here is the first-year bill with the setup fee, before any extra minutes:
| Plan | 12 months | Setup | First year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $2,388 | $199 | $2,587 |
| Advanced | $4,788 | $199 | $4,987 |
| Complete | $8,988 | $199 | $9,187 |
Overage is where the estimate moves. A plumbing company on Standard whose AI handles 700 minutes in a July heat wave pays for 200 extra minutes at $0.40, which is $80 on top of $199. An Advanced customer whose live receptionists take 160 minutes in a month pays for 60 extra at $2.10, another $126. Pull three months of your call logs before choosing a tier; the average call length times your after-hours call count tells you more than the plan names do.
Does Signpost still do review management?
Not on the current pricing page. Signpost built its name with local service businesses on automated review requests and customer email marketing, and directory listings such as Capterra and G2 still describe it that way. The SignpostAI plans today list call answering, messaging, booking and lead response, and none of the three paid tiers or the feature comparison mentions review requests, review monitoring or reputation management.
That matters if you are an existing customer who bought it mainly for reviews, or if a directory page led you to expect review tools at $49 to $99 a user. Those directory figures do not appear anywhere on Signpost's own site, and the plans that are published start at $199. If you are on an older plan, ask your account rep in writing whether review requests stay on your account at renewal and at what price, before your next billing date.
Signpost alternatives for getting Google reviews
If what you need is more Google reviews after each job, these tools publish a price. Every figure below comes from the vendor's own pricing page.
| Tool | Published price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| ReviewJet | $49/mo or $288/yr flat; Plus $149 with 5 workspaces | Review requests plus your Google reviews on your own service pages, no per-truck fee |
| NiceJob | Starter $75/mo, Pro $125/mo | Home service shops that also want referral campaigns and AI replies |
| GatherUp | $99/mo for one location; $60 per location for 2 to 10 | Owners who want NPS surveys alongside reviews |
| Jobber | Reviews inside the $99/mo Marketing Suite, on top of a Jobber plan | Shops already running jobs and invoices in Jobber |
| Housecall Pro | From $59/mo billed yearly; review tools on every plan | Shops already on Housecall Pro for scheduling and dispatch |
| Podium, Birdeye | Not published | Buyers who want a wider suite and will take a sales call |
If you already run dispatch in Jobber or Housecall Pro, check what your plan includes before buying anything, because the review request may already be sitting there unused. ReviewJet does not connect to either, so the office adds each customer when a job closes. What it adds is the other half: your Google reviews on the water heater page, the roof replacement page and next to the booking form, with review schema, at one flat price. Our NiceJob alternatives comparison goes through the home service options in more depth.
Should you keep SignpostAI and add a review tool?
Often, yes. The two jobs sit at opposite ends of the same customer. Answering and booking decide whether a homeowner's first call turns into a job. The review request decides whether that finished job becomes the reason the next homeowner calls you instead of the shop above you in the map pack. If missed calls are your biggest leak, an AI receptionist that answers and books every call is worth pricing against SignpostAI's $199 to $749 tiers on the same call volume.
If reviews are the leak, the fix is cheaper. A shop with 40 Google reviews competing against one with 400 does not need a receptionist first. It needs a text or email with a direct review link after every job, one reminder, and those reviews showing on the site. That is Google review automation, and for trades with their own quirks we have pages on plumber review management, reputation management for roofing companies and reputation management for contractors.
Questions to ask before you sign
- How many AI and live minutes did businesses my size use last summer? Your peak month, not your average, sets the real bill.
- Is the $199 setup fee charged again if I change plans? The page lists it as one time; confirm it stays that way on an upgrade.
- Which add-ons will I need on Standard? Instant Responders ($49) and AI SMS ($100) can turn a $199 plan into a $348 one.
- Are review requests included anywhere? If the answer is not in writing on your order form, assume they are not.
- What happens to my call recordings and contacts if I cancel? Month-to-month only helps if you can take your data with you.
If more Google reviews is the goal, you can compare the ReviewJet plans side by side: Starter at $49 a month covers one business, and Plus at $149 covers up to five brands or locations under one login.

No. SignpostAI states that it has no long-term contracts and that all plans are month-to-month, so you can cancel or change plans at any time. The $199 setup fee is charged once on each paid plan. Franchises and multi-location businesses get custom pricing through the partner team.
Not on its current pricing page. Signpost was known for automated review requests and customer email marketing, but the SignpostAI plans now list call answering, messaging, booking and lead response, with no review requests or reputation features. Existing customers should confirm in writing what stays on their account at renewal.
Before overage minutes, the first year costs $2,587 on Standard, $4,987 on Advanced and $9,187 on Complete, including the $199 setup fee. Add-ons such as Instant Responders at $49 a month or AI SMS at $100 a month raise the Standard and Advanced figures.
For Google review requests alone, tools with published prices include ReviewJet at a flat $49 a month, NiceJob at $75 or $125, and GatherUp at $99 for one location. Jobber sells reviews in its $99 Marketing Suite and Housecall Pro includes review tools in its plans.
