Okendo Pricing: every plan, order limit and the API add-on

ReviewJet Team 8 min read Last updated September 2026

Okendo is one of the few review apps that prints real numbers, which makes its pricing look simple until your store crosses an order band or someone asks for the API. The published plans run from free to $299 a month on the Shopify App Store, priced by how many orders you ship. Above that, the plan that carries API access and Bazaarvoice syndication has no published price at all. Here is every figure Okendo actually publishes, read at source in September 2026, and what each one costs in practice.

The short answer

Okendo Reviews costs $0 up to 50 orders a month, $19 a month up to 200 orders (Essential), $119 up to 1,500 (Growth) and $299 up to 3,500 (Power), with 14 day trials on the paid plans and roughly 8 to 11 percent off for paying annually. Loyalty starts at $99 a month on its own. The Advanced plan, which is where Okendo puts its Merchant REST API and Bazaarvoice syndication, is not priced anywhere Okendo publishes, and the $499 figure you see on blogs is secondhand.

How much does Okendo cost?

Okendo prices Reviews by monthly order volume, and the Shopify App Store listing is the one place where every published plan appears with its cap and both billing options. Okendo's own pricing page asks you to choose an order band before it shows anything, so for budgeting purposes the listing is the cleaner source.

Okendo Reviews plans on the Shopify App Store, read 10 September 2026
Plan Monthly Annual Orders a month Cost per order at the cap
Free $0 $0 Up to 50 $0
Essential $19 $204 (about $17 a month) Up to 200 About 9.5 cents
Growth $119 $1,308 (about $109 a month) Up to 1,500 About 7.9 cents
Power $299 $3,288 (about $274 a month) Up to 3,500 About 8.5 cents
Advanced and Platform Scale Not published Not published Above 3,500 Quote only

What you get as you climb is fairly clear from the listing. Free already includes automated review request emails, the review form, on-site displays, SEO rich snippets, product grouping and moderation. Growth adds AI review summaries and keywords, a Q&A widget and the TikTok Shop integration. Power adds review campaigns, a CSS editor, email and SMS integrations, advanced reporting and managed onboarding. The listing also notes that all charges are billed in USD and that recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days.

The per order column is the useful one. Across the three paid plans Okendo lands between roughly 8 and 10 cents per order at each cap, which is a fair price for a mature review app. The number only looks bad at the bottom of a band, and that is the next question.

What happens if you go over your Okendo order limit?

Okendo's answer is that the subscription price stays the same until your order volume increases, and if you want to keep sending review requests for orders over your plan limit you can either upgrade your plan level or buy a once off "top up" of order credits. You can also upgrade or downgrade at any time.

The band edges are where the math bites. A store shipping 201 orders a month has outgrown Essential, and moving to Growth takes the bill from $19 to $119, more than six times as much, for one extra order. At 201 orders that works out near 59 cents an order until volume catches up with the band. For a store that crosses the line only in November and December, top ups for those months are usually cheaper than a permanent upgrade. For a store that crossed it for good, the upgrade is the honest cost of growing.

Because the listing bills recurring and usage-based charges on a 30 day cycle, the review app line can move from month to month in a busy season. It is worth watching alongside the rest of the Shopify app stack in whatever you use to categorize recurring software spend, since top ups arrive as separate charges rather than a new plan price.

How much is Okendo Advanced?

Okendo does not say. Advanced is not one of the four plans on the Shopify listing, and no Okendo page we could read prints a figure for it. Review blogs commonly quote $499 a month, but they disagree on what it buys, with one citing 2,500 orders a month and another 10,000. We are not going to repeat a number whose own sources cannot agree on the order volume it covers.

What Okendo does publish is what Advanced includes, and that is the part that matters for a buying decision. Its help center says Merchant REST API access requires the Advanced plan or above, or purchased API access on a lower plan, and describes that access as a paid add-on for Power subscribers. Syndication to the Bazaarvoice retail network is also Advanced and above, and it needs a separate Bazaarvoice contract you negotiate yourself. Above Advanced sits Okendo Platform Scale, which Okendo describes as custom pricing with no usage caps and a fixed annual price for unlimited orders.

If the API is why you are looking, our Okendo API guide covers what the Storefront and Merchant APIs each do, where the key is generated and the limits, including the fact that the public Storefront API already reads published reviews on every plan with no key. That alone removes the need to upgrade for a lot of headless builds. If syndication is the reason, read how Bazaarvoice prices its side, because it publishes nothing either and you will be holding two quotes rather than one.

How much does Okendo Loyalty cost?

More than Reviews. In a pricing comparison Okendo published in April 2026, individual products start at $19 a month for Reviews, Referrals, Quizzes and Surveys, while Okendo Loyalty starts at $99 a month. Okendo also states that Loyalty API and webhooks are included on every plan, which is a notable contrast with the Reviews side, where the Merchant REST API sits behind Advanced.

The discounts are where multi-product buyers save. Okendo says bundles of three products cost 30 percent less than buying them individually and the full Okendo Platform is 40 percent less. Its pricing page names three Smart Bundles: Attract (Reviews, Referrals and Surveys), Convert (Reviews, Quizzes and Surveys) and Retain (Reviews, Loyalty and Surveys). If you already know you want reviews plus loyalty, price Retain before buying the two separately.

Is Okendo cheaper than Yotpo?

At the entry level, no, and further up it depends on how much you value knowing the price in advance. Yotpo's own Shopify listing shows Free up to 50 monthly orders, Starter at $15 a month and Pro at $119 a month, with both paid plans footnoted that pricing changes based on order volume. Okendo starts at $19 and matches Yotpo's $119 with Growth.

The real difference is that Okendo publishes the order cap for every band and Yotpo does not, so with Okendo you can put your forecast volume in a spreadsheet and know next year's cost. Judge.me is the other name worth a look: its Awesome plan is a flat $15 a month that does not move with orders, which is hard to beat for a high volume store that does not need Okendo's design polish. Our Yotpo pricing breakdown and the comparison of Yotpo alternatives for Shopify go through those numbers side by side.

Which Okendo plan do you need?

Start from the job, not the plan names. Under 200 orders a month and you want photo reviews, request emails and rich snippets working properly: Essential covers it, and Free is fine to test on up to 50 orders. Between 200 and 1,500 orders and you want AI summaries, Q&A or TikTok Shop: Growth. If email and SMS are a serious revenue channel, note that Okendo's help center lists dynamic review blocks in Klaviyo emails as a Power plan and above feature, which is a common reason stores move to Power before their order count forces it.

Advanced is for two specific needs: authenticated API access to your review data, or syndication to retailers through Bazaarvoice. If you need neither, there is no published reason to go there, and the quote conversation is time you do not need to spend.

What Okendo does not cover

Okendo collects reviews of your products. It does not bring in reviews of your company from Google, Trustpilot or G2, and those are what a first time visitor on your homepage, cart page or wholesale form is actually checking before they trust you with a card. A store can have 4.8 stars on every SKU and still lose the sale to a 3.9 Google rating it never shows.

That is the gap we fill. We collect, monitor and display Google, G2, Trustpilot and direct reviews in one widget, from $24 a month billed yearly, and it runs happily alongside Okendo. See how Google reviews on a Shopify store sit next to a product review app, or try the widget at the top of this page with your own business name.

The decision in one paragraph

Take your average monthly orders and your peak month, and read both against the bands: 50, 200, 1,500 and 3,500. If your peak crosses a band only briefly, stay on the lower plan and budget for top ups. If your average has crossed it, upgrade and take the annual price, which saves 8 to 11 percent. Only open an Advanced conversation if you need the Merchant API or Bazaarvoice syndication, and when you do, ask for Advanced and for Power with the API add-on as two written quotes at your real order volume. Then put your company reviews in front of shoppers too, because product stars answer whether the item is good, not whether the store is.
