Podium Pricing in 2026: How Much Does Podium Cost?
Podium does not publish a price. Its pricing page carries one line instead of a rate card, "Plans designed to fit your specific business needs, talk to our sales team for details," and lists a sales number, 1-801-438-4425. Capterra, which collects pricing directly from vendors, records no starting price and lists all three plans (Core, Pro and Signature) as "Custom Quote". Checked 14 August 2026.
There is a second gate that gets less attention and matters more. Capterra records Podium's free trial as "Not available" and its free version as "Not available". So with Podium you cannot see the price without a sales call, and you cannot see the product without one either. That is a stricter setup than most of its competitors, including Birdeye, which at least offers a trial with no credit card.

What Podium actually publishes
Here is the complete set of pricing facts a buyer can verify without talking to anyone, read on 14 August 2026. It is a short list, which is the point.
| Field | What is published | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Starting price | Not supplied by the vendor | Capterra |
| Plan names | Core, Pro, Signature | Capterra |
| Price of each plan | "Custom Quote" on all three | Capterra |
| Free trial | Not available | Capterra |
| Free version | Not available | Capterra |
| Pricing page copy | "Plans designed to fit your specific business needs, talk to our sales team for details." | podium.com/pricing |
| Sales contact | 1-801-438-4425 | podium.com/pricing |
That is everything. No seat price, no per location rate, no minimum, no contract length. Podium's own pricing page does say "AI lead conversion with every plan," which tells you about packaging rather than cost: the AI features are not being held back for the top tier.
Why do Podium prices online contradict each other?
Search "how much does Podium cost" and you will get confident monthly figures, usually a few hundred dollars a month with add-ons stacked on top. Those numbers come from old sales quotes shared by individual buyers, then copied between articles until they look like published pricing. They do not agree with each other, and none of them are traceable to a Podium document with a date on it.
We are not going to add another set of invented numbers to that pile. What we can tell you is the shape of the bill, because Podium's packaging makes it predictable even when the figure is not: Podium sells reviews alongside texting, webchat, phone and payments. A quote covers the bundle. If reviews are the only part you want, you will be paying for a communications platform to get them, and you will not be able to tell how much of the invoice the review features represent unless you ask for them priced separately.
What Podium is actually selling now
Podium has repositioned, and this changes who should be getting a quote. Its homepage headline describes it as "The #1 converting AI Employee for local businesses," and the verticals it names are auto dealerships, home services, aesthetics and wellness, and retail. On its Capterra listing it describes itself as consolidating communication, online reviews, website chat, marketing campaigns and mobile payments into a single inbox, and says it has helped over 100,000 local businesses.
Podium's own performance claims, which we present as Podium's claims and not as findings of ours, are replies in 36 seconds against a typical 2 or more hours, 45% higher conversion, and 30% more revenue. Capterra shows a 4.3 rating from 521 verified reviews, which is a genuinely strong score at that volume.
The underlying problem is real, whatever you think of the numbers. Inbound leads go cold within minutes, and most local businesses answer them in hours, which is exactly why an entire category of software now exists to answer, qualify and book those leads automatically. If that is your bottleneck, Podium is aimed squarely at you and the quote may well be worth getting. If your bottleneck is that you have 40 good reviews sitting on Google and nothing showing them to visitors on your website, you are looking at the wrong category of product entirely.
How much does Podium cost compared with tools that publish a price?
The useful comparison is not Podium against another quote only vendor, because that just gives you two unknowns. It is Podium against the tools that will tell you the number up front, so you at least know what the market rate looks like before you take the call.
| Vendor | Published price | Billing unit | Try before buying? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Podium | None | Not stated | No trial, no free version |
| Birdeye | None | Quote form bands by location | Free trial, no card |
| Reputation | $80 to $150 | Per location, per month | Not published |
| Trustpilot | $0 to $799 | Per domain, per month | Free plan, 14 day trial on Plus |
| ReviewJet | $49 to $499 | Per account | Yes |
Prices read on each vendor's own page or vendor supplied directory record, Trustpilot on 11 August 2026 and the rest on 14 August 2026. The pattern across this category is consistent: the vendors selling bundled platforms to multi location businesses quote, and the vendors selling a defined job publish. We keep the full version of this table, with what each vendor says word for word, on our Birdeye pricing and alternatives page.
What to ask on the Podium sales call
If you are getting a quote anyway, these five questions turn a bundled proposal into something you can compare. They came out of the same exercise we ran across every vendor in this category.
- Price the review module separately. Reviews, texting, webchat and payments arrive as one number by default. Split out, you can compare it against a review tool with a published price.
- Ask what the rate becomes at renewal. Year one and year two are often different figures in this category. Get both in writing.
- Ask about message volume. Podium is a messaging platform at heart, so ask what is included, what overages cost, and whether carrier fees are passed through.
- Ask about onboarding. Implementation is frequently quoted separately and is easy to miss when you are comparing monthly numbers.
- Ask what you keep if you leave. Reviews collected, contact lists, and whether anything on your site stops rendering. Exit terms get discussed least and cost most.
Is Podium worth it?
Podium is worth the quote if you are a local business with a phone that rings, a form that fills, and nobody free to answer either fast enough. That is a genuine, expensive problem, and Podium has built a serious product around it with a strong user rating to match. The review features come along with it.
Podium is the wrong purchase if reviews are the actual job. You would be buying a communications platform, on an annual quote, with no trial, to solve something a review tool does for a published double digit monthly price. The test is simple: write down the one outcome you want in a sentence. If it involves answering leads faster, get the quote. If it involves getting more reviews and showing them on your website, look at review generation software and a review widget instead.
Does Podium have a free trial?
No. Capterra records both "Free trial: Not available" and "Free version: Not available" for Podium as of 14 August 2026. The way to see the product is a demo run by their team. This is worth planning for, because it means the evaluation is a scheduled conversation rather than something you can do on a Thursday afternoon with a test account.
Is Podium cheaper than Birdeye?
Nobody outside those two companies can answer this honestly, because neither publishes a price. Both sell bundles, both quote per customer, and both scale the number with the size of the business. Anyone telling you one is definitively cheaper is comparing two quotes they saw once, for two businesses that were not yours. We put the two side by side on what they actually do, rather than on invented prices, in Podium vs Birdeye.
The short answer
Podium costs whatever your sales conversation lands on, and there is no published figure to anchor it. What you can do before that call is decide which problem you are buying against, get a published price for the narrow version of that problem, and walk in knowing what the alternative costs. A quote you cannot benchmark is not a price, and the fastest way to benchmark it is to have a real number from a vendor that publishes one sitting in front of you.
