EmbedSocial pricing and how the Pro, Pro Plus and Premium plans are metered
EmbedSocial pricing runs from a free plan to Pro at 29, Pro Plus at 49 and Premium at 99 a month, with Enterprise on a quote. Yearly billing saves 20%. The plans are not split by features so much as by two meters: how many sources you connect and how many times a month your widgets load. Get either number wrong and you either overpay or your widgets go blank before the month ends. Here is what each plan covers, how to size it, and when a different tool fits better.

The short answer
EmbedSocial costs 29 a month for Pro (3 sources, 5,000 views), 49 for Pro Plus (6 sources, 20,000 views) and 99 for Premium (15 sources, 100,000 views), or 24, 40 and 80 a month billed yearly. The pricing page displays euros, and its structured data lists the Pro offer for the US at $29. Every plan has unlimited widgets, a 7 day trial and no contract. If you also need to send review requests after each job, price that separately, because the plans are built around displaying content.
How much does EmbedSocial cost?
These are the figures on embedsocial.com/pricing. The page shows prices in euros; the US offer in its structured data is $29 for Pro, so expect the same numbers in dollars and confirm the currency at checkout.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Sources | Views a month | Auto-sync |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 | 0 | 1 | 500 | Every 24 hours |
| Pro | 29 | 24 a month | 3 | 5,000 | Every 3 hours |
| Pro Plus | 49 | 40 a month | 6 | 20,000 | Every 3 hours |
| Premium | 99 | 80 a month | 15 | 100,000 | Every 30 minutes |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | Custom | Custom | Every 5 minutes |
Pro adds Facebook reviews, Trustpilot, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, social scheduling, advanced analytics and the Shopify integration on top of the free plan's Google reviews and Instagram. Pro Plus adds social listening, such as Instagram hashtags and mentions. Premium adds team accounts, rights management for user content and access to the EmbedSocial API. Enterprise adds sub-accounts and an account manager. Nonprofits get 50% off any plan.
What counts as a source on EmbedSocial?
A source is one account, location or hashtag that EmbedSocial pulls content from. One Google location is one source, one Facebook page is another, one Instagram account is a third. That is why a single business with Google and Facebook reviews already uses two of Pro's three sources, and why a company with four branches on Google needs Pro Plus before it adds anything else.
What happens when you hit the EmbedSocial view limit?
Your widgets stop showing. EmbedSocial counts a view every time a page with a widget loads, even if the visitor never scrolls to it, and the limit is shared by every widget on the account. When you reach it, the widgets disappear until the count resets on the first day of the next month, or right away if you upgrade. That makes views the meter to plan around. Put a reviews widget in your site footer and every page load counts, so a site with 6,000 page views a month outgrows Pro on traffic alone, even with one source.
Three worked examples
| Business | Sources | Widget views a month | Plan it lands on | Year, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HVAC company, one location, widget on 3 service pages | 2 (Google, Facebook) | About 3,000 | Pro | About 288 |
| Auto repair group with 4 branches, widget sitewide | 4 Google locations | About 15,000 | Pro Plus | About 480 |
| Agency with 12 local clients on one account | 12 to 15 | 60,000 and rising | Premium, then Enterprise | About 960, then a quote |
The agency row is where the model bites. Twelve client sites share one 100,000 view pool, so one client with a busy homepage can push every other client's widgets offline in the last week of the month. Agencies usually end up on Enterprise for sub-accounts and custom volume, which is a sales conversation rather than a list price.
Does EmbedSocial need a Trustpilot API key?
Yes. EmbedSocial's own FAQ says Trustpilot widgets are on the Pro plan and require Trustpilot API access, so you connect your own key. On Trustpilot's side, API access is sold as an add-on on its business plans rather than included, which means a Trustpilot carousel through EmbedSocial can cost you two subscriptions. If Trustpilot is your main review site, price that before you choose, or look at our Trustpilot carousel options.
Is EmbedSocial worth it?
It is worth it when your site needs social feeds and reviews in the same place. A restaurant that wants its Instagram grid and its Google reviews on the homepage, or a brand running a shoppable Instagram feed through Shopify, gets a lot for 29 to 49 a month, and unlimited widgets is a genuinely generous term.
It is less of a fit when reviews are the whole job. The plans meter social sources and page views, so you pay for capacity a reviews-only site does not use, and the pricing page says nothing about sending review requests. EmbedSocial does offer review forms, email reviews and an AI reviews responder as separate products, but the pricing page does not state which plan includes them, so ask before you assume. If the real goal is more social content rather than embedding what you already have, a tool that lets you repurpose one customer story into posts for every channel solves a different problem than a feed widget does.
EmbedSocial compared with other review widget pricing
| Tool | Published price | What is metered | Sends review requests |
|---|---|---|---|
| EmbedSocial | 29, 49, 99 a month; 20% off yearly | Sources and widget views | Not stated on the pricing page |
| Elfsight | $0 to $80 a month per app billed yearly | Views, websites, per app | No |
| Trustindex | $65, $125 or $349 a year | Number of companies | Check the add-on list |
| ReviewJet | $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly | Review requests sent (1,000 a month on Starter) | Yes, email and SMS sequences |
The full breakdowns are in our Elfsight pricing page and Trustindex pricing guide, and the review widget pricing comparison lines all of them up by traffic level.
When a review tool fits better than EmbedSocial
A widget only shows the reviews you already have. If your Google profile has 23 reviews and the shop down the road has 300, the widget is not the bottleneck. The fix is asking every customer when the job closes, sending one reminder, and showing what comes back. ReviewJet does both halves: it sends the request by email or text with your direct Google review link, then puts the reviews in an embedded Google reviews widget with review schema, with no view meter that switches it off mid-month.
Starter is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, with unlimited widgets and up to 1,000 review requests a month. Plus is $149 with five seats and five workspaces for multi-brand teams and agencies. You can compare the ReviewJet plans side by side, and if you are leaving a capped widget tool, the Elfsight alternatives page covers the switch.
