REVIEWS.io pricing, what each REVIEWS.io plan costs per domain and cheaper alternatives
REVIEWS.io publishes its prices. The pricing page lists Essentials at $29, Start-Up at $99, Grow at $299 and Plus at $499 a month in US dollars, with a free tier capped at 25 review invites and a 14 day trial on the paid plans. Two things decide what you actually pay: the monthly invite cap on each plan, and the fact that every top-level domain is a separate subscription. Here is what each plan includes, what a real store pays in a year, and when a different tool is the cheaper answer.

The short answer
REVIEWS.io costs $29 to $499 a month per domain, and the plan you need is set by how many review invites you send, not by features alone. Most growing Shopify brands land on Start-Up at $99, because Google Seller Ratings, review importing and the Klaviyo integration start there. If you run a service business, a SaaS product or an agency and mainly need Google, G2 or Trustpilot reviews on your website, you are paying for product review machinery you will not use, and ReviewJet does that job for a flat $49.
How much does REVIEWS.io cost?
The REVIEWS.io pricing page shows four paid plans, each with a hard ceiling on review invites per month. An invite, in the vendor's own FAQ, is each email or SMS request sent through REVIEWS.io. The page notes that prices are displayed in USD, that an annual plan saves 20 percent (you switch to it in the dashboard after signing up), and that pricing is calculated per domain.
| Plan | Listed price | Review invites per month | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 25 | A trial-sized allowance, enough to test the flow |
| Essentials | $29/mo | Up to 300 | Product and company reviews, photo and video collection, automated review collection, 15+ on-site widgets |
| Start-Up | $99/mo | Up to 1,500 | Google Seller Ratings, Google Rich Snippets, review importing, third-party review collection, Klaviyo integration, 100 SMS invites |
| Grow | $299/mo | Up to 5,000 | Reputation manager, AI review summary, competitor analysis, dynamic link, custom attributes, 100 survey replies |
| Plus | $499/mo, sold through a demo | Up to 10,000 | AI review replies, translation, shoppable UGC galleries, Bazaarvoice syndication, API access, a customer success manager |
Read the right-hand column carefully, because that is where the real price sits. Google Seller Ratings (the stars under your Google Shopping ads) and the Klaviyo integration are not on Essentials. For a Shopify brand that sends post-purchase emails through Klaviyo, the working entry price is $99, not $29. API access is on Plus only, so a team that wants review data in its own warehouse or app is looking at $499.
Is REVIEWS.io priced per domain?
Yes. The pricing page says each top-level domain is treated as a separate subscription. A brand selling on a .com for the US and a .co.uk for Britain pays for two plans, and adding an Australian store makes it three. This is the line that surprises international DTC brands the most, because the invite caps and the features do not pool across domains.
It matters less if you sell on one US domain. It matters a lot if you are an agency: every client with its own domain is its own REVIEWS.io subscription, billed to someone.
What a store actually pays in a year
Here is the arithmetic from the listed prices, using the 20 percent annual discount the pricing page advertises. Taxes and SMS beyond the included 100 are not in these numbers.
| Setup | Plan | Monthly billing, per year | Annual billing, per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small store, under 300 orders asked a month | Essentials | $348 | about $278 |
| Shopify brand using Klaviyo and Seller Ratings | Start-Up | $1,188 | about $950 |
| Same brand on a US, UK and AU domain | Start-Up x 3 | $3,564 | about $2,851 |
| Brand sending 4,000 invites a month | Grow | $3,588 | about $2,870 |
| Brand needing the API | Plus | $5,988 | about $4,790 |
The jump that catches people is the invite cap. A store that grows from 1,200 to 1,800 orders a month and asks every buyer outgrows Start-Up, and the next plan up is three times the price. Before you pick a plan, count the invites you will actually send, including the reminder emails if your flow sends them, and leave headroom for your busiest month.
Does REVIEWS.io have a free plan?
There is a free tier with 25 review invites a month, and the paid plans come with a 14 day free trial. Twenty-five invites is enough to see how the request emails look and how the widgets render on your store. It is not enough to run a store on, so treat it as a trial with no end date rather than a plan.
Who REVIEWS.io is the right buyer for
REVIEWS.io is built around e-commerce. Product reviews per SKU, photo and video reviews, Google Seller Ratings, Google Shopping, Shopify Flow, Klaviyo, TikTok Shop and syndication to Walmart and Bazaarvoice are all on its feature list. If you sell physical products online and want stars under each product and under your Shopping ads, it is a serious option with honest public pricing, which is more than Yotpo's upper tiers or Bazaarvoice offer.
It is also the tool that says it will buy out your contract if you are switching from another review provider, which is worth asking about if you are mid-term with Yotpo or Okendo. Our Yotpo alternatives and Shopify review app pricing comparison puts it next to Judge.me, Okendo and Loox.
Plus includes shoppable UGC galleries built from customer photos. If what you really want is polished video content for ads rather than photos from reviews, that is a different purchase, and it is usually cheaper to hire vetted UGC creators directly than to move up to a $499 plan for it.
When a cheaper tool does the job
Plenty of people pricing REVIEWS.io are not selling products at all. A contractor, a clinic, a law firm, a SaaS company or an agency usually needs three things: ask each customer for a review on Google, G2 or Trustpilot, send one reminder, and show those reviews on the website. None of that needs product reviews, Seller Ratings or per-SKU syndication.
For that job, the comparison looks different.
| Tool | Published price | How it scales | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|
| REVIEWS.io | $29 to $499/mo | Per domain, by invite cap | E-commerce product and company reviews |
| ReviewJet | $49/mo Starter, $149/mo Plus | Flat; Starter includes 1,000 requests a month | Google, G2, Trustpilot and direct reviews on your website |
| Trustpilot | From $99/mo Starter | Per domain, billed annually, 12 month term | A Trustpilot profile and TrustBox widgets |
| NiceJob | $75 or $125/mo | Monthly, no contract | Home service businesses |
| Judge.me | Awesome plan $15/mo | Flat per store | Shopify product reviews on a budget |
If your reviews live on Google and your buyers check them there, a product review platform is the wrong shape of tool. Look at a review widget for your website that pulls your existing Google, G2 and Trustpilot reviews and keeps them current, plus requests that send people straight to the review form. If you are weighing REVIEWS.io as a replacement for a Trustpilot contract, our Trustpilot alternatives page compares seven options on price. And if you are a Shopify store that wants your Google reviews on product pages, not a second review system, see Google reviews on Shopify.
Questions to ask before you sign
- How many invites will I send in my busiest month? Count reminders if they are sent as separate requests. Pick the plan that covers the peak, not the average.
- How many domains do I sell on? Each top-level domain is its own subscription.
- Do I need Klaviyo or Seller Ratings? If yes, Essentials is not an option and your floor is $99.
- Will I pay annually? The 20 percent saving is set in the dashboard after sign-up, so confirm the annual price and term before you commit.
- Am I leaving another provider mid-contract? Ask about the contract buyout the pricing page mentions, and get the terms in writing.
REVIEWS.io is one of the few review platforms that prints every price, which makes it easy to budget. The mistake is buying it for a job it was not built for. Product brands with Klaviyo flows will get their money's worth from Start-Up or Grow. Service and B2B businesses that want their Google, G2 or Trustpilot reviews working on their website can do it for less on ReviewJet's flat plans.
